"Untitled 2 "
Spring 1999. Seriously, Commander Mark is a god. My friend Jeff and I used to spend whole weekends drawing these giant murals on rolls of paper - something like 10 feet of little weird guys and cities and secret tunnels and other stuff you wish existed. Anyway, this is probably the first doodle-mural I ever suspected of representing something from my life. When class ended and I finished this piece (I never spent more than one class on any of these) I suddenly started to worry I'd drawn my family: I grew up in a family of 4 in a rural setting. I've shrugged it off, though, because exactly who in this doodle-mural corresponds to what family member I have no idea.
